AI can definitely be the demise of the working class. As machine learning picks up and bots learn more of what we want,we will become obsolete within certain industries

You make a compelling argument; however, implementing specific technology has greatly benefited humanity. For example, relocating toll collectors and adding toll-less booths allows traffic to flow much better.

The ultimate impact of AI on the working class will depend on a range of factors, including government policies, corporate practices, and the ability of workers to adapt to a changing job market. Strategies like investing in education and training, implementing policies that encourage the development of new job opportunities, and ensuring that the economic benefits of AI are shared broadly can help mitigate the negative impacts while maximizing the positive ones.

However, there's also a risk that AI could lead to job displacement, especially in industries that rely heavily on routine tasks. Workers in manufacturing, logistics, and even some service sectors could find their jobs automated away. This could increase unemployment or underemployment among the working class unless there are significant investments in retraining and education to help these workers transition to new roles. Additionally, there might be a widening income gap if the benefits of AI are not evenly distributed and primarily accrue to those who already have high-paying, secure jobs or those who own the technologies.

On the one hand, AI can lead to the automation of routine and repetitive tasks, which can free up workers to focus on more complex and creative tasks. This can increase productivity and potentially lead to higher wages and better working conditions for employees who adapt to new roles that leverage their uniquely human skills.

Artificial intelligence (AI) has the potential to significantly impact the working class, with both positive and negative outcomes depending on various factors, including how it's implemented and managed.
