Why recruiters don't see the value in transferable skills?
Applicant: I could type 180 words a minute.
Recruiter: That is nice, but my client is looking for someone with data entry skills who can quickly input information.
The recruiter should value the previous skill set, and the employer should be willing to train the applicant in any new value skills required to complete the task.
